Geoffrey H. Edmunds & Associates was created in 1977, after Mr. Edmunds spent six years as a partner with Jerry Murphree at Murphree-Edmunds, Inc. Under Edmunds’ direction, the new company quickly developed a reputation for its unique architectural style and design and high quality craftsmanship and construction. The firm also built numerous office building projects throughout Phoenix and Scottsdale. In addition, the firm was involved with the development of Cascade Village in Durango, Colorado, a resort community featuring 125 condominiums, a 24,000- square-foot recreation building, tennis courts and indoor swimming pool.

Reflecting the firm’s accomplishments, Geoffrey H. Edmunds & Associates was purchased in 1995 by Toll Brothers, Inc., the nation’s leading luxury home builder. Even during the transition period, Geoffrey H. Edmunds & Associates completed the construction of existing Arizona communities, including Stonegate, a 375-acre master planned community in Scottsdale featuring 900 homes, and Cheney Estates, a neighborhood of 72 homes in Paradise Valley. At the time, Cheney Estates was the fastest selling community of homes averaging $1 million. Edmunds later broke that impressive record with sales at Esplanade Place.

In 1998, after completing contractual obligations with Toll Brothers, Edmunds returned to the homebuilding business. Arizona projects include the condominium community of Esplanade Place as well as 6500 Camelback, a gated enclave of 13 custom homes in Scottsdale and The Ranch Cottages at Talking Rock, an upscale golf course community in Prescott. Most recently, Edmunds has joined forces once again with the Pivotal Group to create Pinnacle Peak Place, an expansive community of 80 luxury homes on 120 acres in North Scottsdale.
